My friend sent me an email this afternoon sharing an exchange he had with his daughter last night. I hope he doesn't mind that I shared this (my friend's daughter is 4):
Last night as she’s getting in bed, she says: “I need to ask you a question that I meant to ask you when I was 3 when we were on the boardwalk.” Naturally, I say, “Sure.” She proceeds, “How was the first person born if there was no mommy to carry it in her belly?”In his email he stated that he had a hard time coming up with an answer.
